So 4 days ago, after 12 long years of waiting, I received my copy of Starcraft 2.
So thankfully, it also runs on my Laptop – albeit with all the graphics turned down. But it’s still playable, which is really all I’m looking for if I’m playing on my non-gaming laptop. While it doesn’t bother me, the graphics are superb on my new gaming computer. It’s really quite amazing the differences between super low, and ultra quality. Here are some comparison shots:
My Laptop – (Especially noticeable are the mineral deposits and the shading effects on the buildings)
Gaming Computer –
Anyways, much of the strategies for Toss and Zerg have changed. Though it seems rushing isn’t as common as it used to be. Terran is about the same, turtle and build. Still it’s been great fun, and the new battle.net system makes it even easier to be on your team with friends. So regardless of win or lose, it’s been fun playing with them. Even in losses the games are pretty epic.
More updates to come, possibly after tonight when Elson, Doro, and I try to secure a better rank in our gold league division 🙂
