So it’s been a while since I updated, and I’ve been thinking about what I really wanted to do with this blog. Until now it’s just been me updating whenever I feel like it, and about random things. I remember when I first thought about starting a blog, I knew I wanted to write something thought-provoking or profound on a semi-weekly basis. However, I quickly realized profundity doesn’t strike that often. Also I wanted to write hundreds and hundreds of words per entry, but that also quickly became a huge time-sink for both the reader and for me. I imagine people didn’t to read a two page essay every time they checked this blog. So I’ve decided to try to limit myself to 1000 characters, and also to update Monday, Wednesday, and possibly Friday. I think it’ll be good discipline. Now onto the meat of this post.
The end of this hot, humid season quickly approaches. Fortunately it gives way to one of my more preferred seasons – Fall, or Autumn as some would have it. I’ve been pretty busy lately, what with school starting up again, and our most recent camping trip a rousing success. We made a video while we were enjoying ourselves, though due to our preoccupation with having fun, we lacked some footage but here’s the final product!
Also I owe 2 weeks of singing videos so I’m going to try to get that done this week on Tuesday and Thursday, then post the one for this week on Saturday. That’s the plan anyways.
Arts, Beats, and Eats is this weekend in Royal Oak, MI. If anyone is interested and wants to go let me know!
Until Wednesday, ciao.
