After discovering Big Gigantic at Middlelands, and seeing them a second time at Electric Forest I was elated to see they were coming into town. I garnered a crew to accompany me and we danced the night away.

The first opener was Shallou. I had never heard of them, but when I found out that they would be opening I looked them up on my music app. Their music was very chill and I was immediately a fan. Kathy, who had bought a ticket to the concert, already knew them which surprised me.

I was going to edit the videos together, but apparently Youtube doesn’t let you do it online anymore. So the videos are all separete, yay~!

The Floozies I had never heard of either, but they were a very entertaining electronic funk band. They had some great sounds and I really enjoyed their set. I didn’t recognize it at the time, but Kathy pointed out they did a Despacito cover. It was so stylized though, that I didn’t catch it immediately. It was really cool

Big Gigantic was on point as usual. They played their hits, and it was high energy all set. It was a bit disappointing to not see the live brass like they had at Electric Forest, but it was still good. A great set and I hope to see them at another festival.

I couldn’t have asked for a better group to go with. A fun night with great companions.
