Indiana again? Of course!
On the weekend of June 10th, Dante and I headed down to Indiana. He hadn’t been yet, and he just so happened to have his 5 day weekend so I suggested we go have a vacation.

Read more "Indiana again? Of course!"This summer is rife with weddings. On Saturday the 22nd, my friends (and guildies) Mikey and Tracey got hitched! It’s been a while since he told me he got engaged, but the day finally came and I was very flattered to be invited. Especially since we’ve never met in person! All our interaction has come from some gadget invented to keep the human race in contact with his brethren. So this past Saturday I took a Greyhound bus down to Dayton, OH to celebrate one of the happiest days of their life.
Read more "Hitt-Codding Wedding"Alright, so a little over 3 weeks late but definitely worth talking about. Arbor Brewing Company was one of the first breweries in Michigan to make a sour beer. Their main pub, the Corner Brewery, is located in Ypsilanti, MI where it is nestled in some woods and houses a very nice beer garden. It’s a great atmosphere to go hang out with friends, play some card/board games (bring your own or use the ones there), and drink some delicious beers.

June 11th, 2013 rolled around this year with another Pitmaster’s in tow. This time the theme for the dinner was Surf & Turf. The price tag was on the higher side (at $75) but as always it was delicious. The brewery paired with this dinner was the Right Brain Brewery from Traverse City.

Keeping this in mind since his departure, I wrangled a handful of friends and convinced them to go to Indiana with me for this culinary expedition. Jimmy lives in southern Indiana, near Kentucky. This is about a 7 hour drive, so we had a nice road trip through Ohio, Kentucky, and the southern tip of Indiana. Two of our group left from Urbana-Champagn, Illinois and the other five of us road-tripped down from my place.
