Sorry for the delay! It’s been a busy, stressful, and eventful week. More on that at a possibly third post this week! It’s the reward of my loyal readers coming back despite my tardy post.

So originally I was going to post the Indiana pictures and such, but I decided that I needed to Photoshop and make the pictures look awesome. Just some color balance and stuff, I’m going to try to have them up for the Thursday/Friday post. I tend to write that post on Thursday, but it doesn’t get posted until I’m burning the midnight oil on Friday. Until then I’ll just have to share some Easter dinner pictures.

Easter, as some of you may be aware, fell on April 4th in the year of the apocalypse. That is 2012. I like to call it zombie day. I would imagine that offends a fair number of people, but those people are either A) not nerds, or B) have no sense of humour. Yes, I spelled it with a ‘U’ cause I’m cool like that. Why should the British have a monopoly on words with ‘U’ in it. Anyways, I digress.

Everyone attending easter dinner (above the age of 18) brought something to contribute. After some suggestions, I came up with Cream puffs. But I didn’t know how they would turn out. So after some more thinking, I had a light bulb. What does everyone that doesn’t suffer from a strawberry allergy like? Chocolate Covered Strawberries! So Jimmy and I got to work.

After our arrival, we were mingling with old friends and I even made some new ones.

Finally it was time to eat the delicious food. You can’t really see it in the pictures, but the baked chicken was delightfully juicy and flavorful. There was also smoked gouda mashed potatoes, tuna salad, a cucumber salad, Kielbasa and sauerkraut, gravy, lemon-butter caper sauce to pair with the chicken, and probably some other delicious food that I can’t remember anymore.

Afterwards the weather was so nice, we went outside and hung out, played frisbee, and generally enjoyed each other’s company and the weather.

Was a great evening! Anyways I apologize for any delay. There have been some personal problems that prevented a timely posting of this on Tuesday. But lucky you guys! Two back to back posts. I need to photoshop the Indiana pictures to really bring out the vibrance of the area. Also there’s like 50 pictures to upload and organize into a cohesive post.
