So Cards Against Humanity is an awesome game. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s Apples to Apples but for adults (Rated R or probably worse) and is a pretty good icebreaker or conversation piece for a group gathering. Sometimes they have random special sets or cards or expansions come out, and this holiday they decided to give away 100,000 “holiday” packages for $12. In this package they were going to send out 12 gifts to you for 12 days (per the song).  My coworker and I saw it and decided what the hell, this could be fun. So today I got Day 1 and Day 2 in the mail today.

As you can see the envelopes are in accordance with the song, with some artistic liberties. And Day 1 gave me some holiday CAH cards to add to my set.

Day 2 is coal. I’m pretty sure this is coal. I can’t tell if I should keep this as a story to tell, or to burn it for warmth. In any case, it’s sitting around for the time being.

For a while I thought I would stress myself out by constantly catching up with events that happen (especially when they all happen in succession), but I think I’ll keep putting out new posts, and then just catch up on my own time. That way you can see some new stuff, and I won’t feel bad (akin to when I hadn’t finished my thesis for Master’s) about not getting posts up when hanging out with friends or other such activities.

Work has been very busy and very exciting, and this next year is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see how things turn out! Other than that, still working on straightening up my basement, and getting a before and after house post. Luckily Christmas vacation is coming up that should afford me the time to get caught up with everything. Hopefully….
